Partners’ travel Tallinn-Põlva.

 

Direct Tallinn-Põlva bus departs Tallinn bus station at 18.45 and arrives Põlva bus station at 22.25

Friday, July 31, 2015 (day accompanied by Estonian participants)

 

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant

 

09:00 - 10:30 Hotel Pesa seminar room (computer, projector, internet available) in Põlva

 

  • Short presentation of meeting and participants (30 min)
  • Presentation of LEADER Programme in Estonia – Marek Treufeldt, Head of LEADER unit, Estonian Agricultural Registers and Information Board ARIB (30 min)
  • Presentation of LEADER local action group Borderlands Leader as a good practice case study of multilevel local governance – Kaidi-Mari Liping, Manager of LAG Borderlands Leader (30 min)

 

10:30 – 11.30 Transfer by bus to visit local LEADER projects and institutions in Misso Rural Municipality, located in the very South-Eastern corner of Estonia, located by Latvian and Russian border.

 

11.45 – 12.15 Misso Rural Municipality, Mr Lembit Sikk, Mayor. Quick tour of the municipality building and brief information about LEADER projects implemented by the local authority.

 

12.15 – 12.45 time slot for discussion between participants + video recordings

 

13:00 - 14:00 Lunch in Nopri (local dairy farm). Presentation of its projects and initiative “Come to live in the countryside”. Owner of the farm, Mr Tiit Niilo, has previously been also a member of Estonian Parliament.

 

14.00 – 14.30 Tour of Nopri – visit the dairy farm, see its production

 

14.30 – 15.30 Video recording of participants’ presentations; time for discussion (there will be computer + projector) .

 

15.45 – 16.15 Visit a local flax museum (Tsiistre Linamuuseum), operated by a local NGO Prastuli Selts. The museum was created with different grants from LEADER programme. Example of a LEADER project by NGO, Mrs Kristina Remmel

 

16.30 – 17.00 Visit Tsiistre Tea House – Example of a LEADER project by an enterprise

 

17.00 – 17.30 Transfer by bus from Tsiistre to Siksali, Voki village.

 

17:30 -19:00 Discussion as a focus group related with experiences visited in the morning (for example: ideas for further and new projects)

There is time slot for discussion, if the weather is nice we can do it outdoors to have a free environment. We can have the white paper to write down contributions from partners, if needed.

 

19.00 Special Welcome Dinner in Siksali at the location of EE project partner Siksali Development Centre. Dinner is cooked outdoors on open fire (by NGO Estonian Survival Society Manager, Mr Aigar Liping) and served outdoors under a big wooden shade/building – please bring a jacket as evenings can be chilly!)

 

22.00 Bus transfer from Siksali to Hotel Pesa in Põlva

 

Saturday, August 01

 

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant

 

9:00 - 10:30 Hotel Pesa seminar room (computer, projector, internet available)

 

  • Presentation of EU policies in terms of known LEADER Programme case and fit with multilevel governance model (Andrés)
  • Discussion about TESLA configuration as an European Network (objectives, scope, ideas to develop, how to engage additional participants)

 

10:30 hh 11:30 Managerial TESLA topics (administrative) and Communications means (common website, social network - facebook)

 

11:30 hh 12:00 Early lunch. Check-out from the hotel.

 

13.05 bus departs to Tartu from Põlva bus station. Departure of participants.

Optional: Visit to local festival Seto Kingdom Day in Obinitsa. NB! To be pre-arranged with Kaidi-Mari!
